WHY GENUINE WAX
Made for the WaxJet 51C.
Tougher red wax
Flashforge's red wax blocks give higher strength and toughness with a lower risk of cracking, so fine prongs and filigree survive handling.
Clean burnout
100% wax with ash under 0.01% (Flashforge figure), so it is designed to burn out like the wax you already cast, with no resin residue. Run a test flask first.
Published wax shrinkage
Flashforge publishes 0.7% linear and 1.1% volumetric wax shrinkage. Metal and investment shrinkage come on top, so cast a test piece.
IN THE WORKFLOW
From block to casting.
The WaxJet 51C melts the red model wax and jets it in 15 µm layers, while white support wax holds overhangs. After printing, the support wax dissolves away and the red pattern goes straight to spruing and investing.
