SPEED

Why three print heads matter.

A single-head wax printer slows down as you fill the plate, because one head has to cover more area on every layer. The WaxJet 530 splits the plate between three synchronised print heads, so it holds its full speed whether you print one ring or a full plate.

What that means at the bench

Each layer takes about 8.2 seconds across the whole plate

A 150 mm build height fits tall pieces, bangles and stacked batches

Designed for 24/7 running, so long jobs finish unattended overnight

Full casting trees every run, not just a few pieces

Speed and output figures are Flashforge's published specifications. Real print time depends on the height of your tallest part and the support needed.

DETAIL AND FINISH

Fine detail, ready to cast.

Flashforge's high-precision MJP process jets wax at 2900 × 2900 × 1700 DPI in 15 µm layers. Patterns come off the plate with smooth surfaces that capture pavé seats, filigree and organic forms.

Less polishing

Flashforge says the smoother surface reduces polishing time by 25 to 33% compared with its resin printer comparison. We have not measured this ourselves; test your own parts.

Stone-in-place ready

The red model wax is tough and flexible, so it holds up to stone setting and handling before investing.

Easy to electroplate

Flashforge's red wax takes an electroplated silver coating well, for workflows that plate the pattern.

No support clipping

The white support wax dissolves away, leaving fine details intact and no marks to clean up.

WAX AND EFFICIENCY

Less waste, longer runs.

58 to 60% utilisation

Flashforge's patented wax circulation control keeps more of the model wax in your patterns and less in the waste tray.

Big bottles

Model wax comes in 1.5 or 3.0 kg bottles and support wax in 1.6 or 3.6 kg bottles. Choose the larger size for long jobs without topping up.

Durable print heads

The wax circulation system and 365 × 24 hour testing are designed to keep the print heads reliable in daily production.

IS IT THE RIGHT ONE?

WaxJet 530 or WaxJet 51C?

Choose by monthly volume

Both printers use the same wax at the same resolution, so patterns cast the same way. If your work would keep two or more WaxJet 51C printers busy, the WaxJet 530 is the better fit. For smaller volumes the desktop WaxJet 51C is the practical choice. Our 3D Printers page compares both side by side.
