About this policy
1.1 This policy is given by 3D Werk (ABN 68 663 371 015) (we, us, our). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and our Conditions of Sale: Machines and Equipment, and uses the terms defined in them, including Machine, Consumables, Parts, Goods, Sydney Metro Area, Installation Date, Business Day and ACL.
1.2 In short, the Sydney Metro Area is within a 50 km straight-line radius of the Sydney GPO (1 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000). This is where we deliver, install and service Machines.
1.3 Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL.
2
Machines: ordering and lead times
2.1 Every Machine is ordered from Flashforge, the manufacturer, in China, after you have paid in full. We aim to place your order within 2 Business Days after your payment clears, and we tell you when we have. The Machine is then air freighted to Sydney and cleared through customs.
2.2 Our usual lead time is about 6 weeks on average after we place your order with Flashforge, though it can be longer. We give you an estimated delivery date in writing.
2.3 Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Factory schedules, flights, customs and biosecurity clearance and other events beyond our control can cause delays.
2.4 We will tell you when your Machine leaves the factory, arrives in Sydney and clears customs, and we will contact you promptly if we expect a delay. If a Machine is more than 12 weeks later than the estimated delivery date we first gave you, either of us can cancel and you get a full refund, as set out in our Conditions of Sale: Machines and Equipment. Your rights under the ACL are not affected.

Wax and Parts
3.1 Consumables and Parts we hold in stock ship from Sydney and are usually dispatched within 2 Business Days after payment clears. We email you tracking details when your order leaves us.
3.2 If an item is out of stock, we will tell you the expected date before we dispatch, and you can choose to wait or cancel that item for a full refund.
3.3 Delivery charges are shown at checkout or in our quote before you pay. Delivery times after dispatch are the carrier's estimates and are not guaranteed.
3.4 Please check your delivery address before you pay. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we will contact you, and the cost of sending it again is payable by you.
4
Where we deliver
4.1 Machines: delivery within the Sydney Metro Area is included in the Machine price. We supply Machines outside the Sydney Metro Area only if we agree in writing first, with delivery quoted separately.
4.2 Consumables and Parts: we deliver Australia wide using reputable carriers.
4.3 We do not currently deliver outside Australia.
5
Customs, duties and import charges
5.1 For Goods we import, our prices already include customs duties, import GST, biosecurity and customs clearance costs. You will not be asked to pay any extra import charges.
6
Delivery, risk and ownership
6.1 Please make sure someone authorised is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time and place. For Machines, we agree the delivery date, time window and place with you in advance.
6.2 We are responsible for your Goods until they are delivered. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the Goods are delivered to your delivery address or, for a Machine, to the agreed place at your site. We remain responsible for any damage that we, our staff or our contractors cause while installing, servicing or moving a Machine.
6.3 Ownership of Goods passes to you on delivery, provided you have paid in full. If you have not, ownership passes when we receive full payment. Our Conditions of Sale: Machines and Equipment set out the details for Machines.
7
Getting your site ready for a Machine
7.1 You are responsible for preparing your site before the agreed delivery date. We send you the manufacturer's site requirements for your Machine with our order confirmation, and we are happy to talk them through. As a guide, your site will need:
access: a clear, safe path from the delivery vehicle to the installation room, with doorways, corridors and lifts large enough for the crate or the unpacked Machine, and details of any loading dock, stairs, parking or building access rules;
lifting: the WaxJet 51C weighs about 115 kg unpacked and about 140 kg in its crate, and the WaxJet 530 about 480 kg unpacked and more in its crate. Tell us about any steps or stairs so we can bring suitable equipment and people;
a stable bench or stand: level, rigid, rated for the Machine's weight, sized to the manufacturer's footprint and free from vibration;
power: a suitable power point near the Machine that meets the manufacturer's electrical requirements;
a temperature controlled room: stable temperature and humidity within the manufacturer's operating range, away from direct sunlight, heaters and air conditioning outlets that blow onto the Machine;
ventilation: good ventilation where you use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or other solvents for post processing, with storage and ignition controls suited to flammable liquids; and
network: a wired connection or reliable Wi-Fi if you want to send print jobs over your network or use remote support.
7.2 If you are unsure whether your site is suitable, send us photos and measurements before delivery. We can advise, but meeting workplace health and safety, building and electrical requirements at your site remains your responsibility.
8
Installation and training
8.1 WaxJet 51C and WaxJet 530: installation, setup and user training at your site in the Sydney Metro Area are included in the price.
8.2 Our travel for installation and training is included anywhere in the Sydney Metro Area. If we agree to supply a Machine to a site outside the Sydney Metro Area, delivery, installation, training and our reasonable travel and accommodation costs are quoted separately and shown in your Quote before you accept it.
8.3 A new WaxJet 530 comes with the same inclusions as a new WaxJet 51C, including the one-year all-inclusive service contract.
8.4 During installation we unpack, position and level the Machine on your prepared bench, connect it, load materials, run a test print and show your nominated staff how to operate and maintain it. Please make sure the people who will use the Machine are available for training.
8.5 We take the packaging away if you ask us to on the day. Some customers prefer to keep the crate in case the Machine is moved later.
8.6 On-site service after installation, including the service contract included with a new WaxJet 51C or WaxJet 530, is covered by our Service Plan Terms. On-site service is provided in the Sydney Metro Area. Elsewhere it is by arrangement, with travel quoted first.
9
Checking your delivery
9.1 Please inspect the Goods and packaging as soon as practicable after delivery. For Machines we install, we do this together during installation and record any damage.
9.2 If you notice transit damage, missing items or the wrong Goods, please tell us within 2 Business Days after delivery (5 Business Days for a Machine we are not installing), with photos of the Goods and packaging where possible. If you can, note visible damage on the carrier's delivery record before signing.
Your rights are not limited
This request helps us claim from the carrier and fix the problem faster. It is not a deadline. If you tell us about damage, missing items or a fault later, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply, and we will replace, repair or refund goods damaged in transit at no cost to you.
10
If your site is not ready
10.1 If we cannot deliver or install on the agreed date because your site is not ready or accessible, or no one is available to receive the Goods, we will agree a new date with you.
10.2 You then pay our reasonable costs actually incurred as a result, such as a failed delivery or redelivery fee from our carrier, extra labour or equipment hire, and storage while we wait for your site to be ready. We will tell you about these costs before we incur them where we can, and keep them as low as reasonably possible.
10.3 This does not apply if the delay is caused by us or our carrier.
10.4 If Goods cannot be delivered for a long period because of reasons on your side, we will contact you in writing. If we still cannot deliver them, we may deal with them under the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW), which requires an order of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal before goods worth A$20,000 or more can be disposed of.
11
Moving a Machine later
Machines contain precision components and must be prepared properly before they are moved. Please contact us before you move a Machine, even within the same building. We can quote to move and recommission it.
