SEE IT IN ACTION
Designed around the workshop.
Compact, full performance
A desktop footprint that keeps industrial-grade printing while cutting the equipment investment.
Wax on demand
A redesigned material supply feeds wax as it is needed, which reduces waste and keeps wax from degrading.
Space efficient
The compact design fits an existing workshop or lab, with no dedicated print room needed.
SPEED
How fast it prints.
Wax printers measure speed in height per hour. The WaxJet 51C has one print head and two lanes. A small job in one lane prints at about 7 mm/h. Fill both lanes and the head covers twice the area, so speed drops to about 3.2 mm/h, but you get a full plate of patterns in one run.
Vertical print speed
One lane, small jobs
about 7 mm/h
Both lanes, full plate
about 3.2 mm/h
Speeds are Flashforge's published figures. Print time depends mainly on the height of your tallest part.
What that means at the bench
A typical ring build can be finished the same day
Load a full plate at the end of the day and it prints overnight
Built for 24/7 running, up to 3 to 4 kg of patterns a month
Need more? The WaxJet 530 holds full speed across its whole plate
DETAIL AND FINISH
Fine detail, ready to cast.
At 2900 × 2900 × 1700 DPI and 15 µm layers, the WaxJet 51C is designed for fine jewellery detail with smooth surfaces. Send us your files and we will print a sample to show you the detail.
True to your CAD
Flashforge specifies ±0.04 mm per 20 mm. Wax shrinks about 0.7% as it cools, so check a test print.
Tougher red wax
Flashforge's new red wax blocks give higher strength and toughness, with a lower risk of cracking.
No support clipping
The white support wax dissolves away in a warm bath, leaving fine details intact.
THE MACHINE
Every angle of the WaxJet 51C.
EASY TO RUN
Simple from file to plate.
13 inch touchscreen
A large HD touchscreen on the front of the machine for starting and checking jobs.
Built-in HD camera
Watch the build in real time without opening the machine.
WaxJetPrint software

IS IT THE RIGHT ONE?
WaxJet 51C or WaxJet 530?
Choose by monthly volume
Both printers use the same wax at the same resolution, so patterns cast the same way. If your volume fits one WaxJet 51C, it is the practical choice. If your work would keep two or more WaxJet 51C printers busy, look at the WaxJet 530. Our 3D Printers page compares both side by side.
